PONT Group was nominated for the Cultural Entrepreneurship prize awarded by the Administration of National Cultural Fund (AFCN).

The PONT Group completed two AFCN-funded projects in 2018 and has a third project ongoing in 2019. In the EduCastle project we created 12 toys which help children aged 4-12 to learn about the history of the castles in Transylvania in an interactive and fun way. In the III Castle FORMULA Camp young specialists worked together on sustainable models for the Kemény castle in Brâncovenești. History is Our Story will be an interactive webdocumentary about 3 castles, directed by Cecília Felméri.

Castle in Transylvania SHOP offers since 2017 unique products inspired by Transylvanian castles and manufactured by young local artists. Shoppers support the Castle in Transylvania Fund bz purchasing unique artworks and gift items of Transylvanian designers.

The Cultural Entrepreneurship prize is awarded by the AFCN for “an organization with sustainable cultural projects that promoted the income generating potential of these”. The Gala will take place on 15th January.

We are very happy that through the Castle in Transylvania Program we are able to contribute to emphasising the values of Transylvanian castles and the communities around them!
