The two-storey, U-shaped building with short wings has few decorative elements, but the one that is perhaps most worth mentioning is the low attic wall painted in the Romanian national colours that originally displayed the family’s crest.

The plaster decorations around the windows and at the edges of the building imitate quoining, and together with the lintels accentuate the windows and corners of the building. Most of the windows are jack arched, except the large windows from the avant-corps, which are round-arched.

Today, the freshly renovated castle is the building of the school named after Roman Visarion.
